RLCF CHILDREN'S CENTER AWARDED QCCC GRANT THROUGH PROJECT CHILD
INA, Ill. –The Rend Lake College Foundation Children’s Center has been awarded a Quality Counts Child Care Grant through Project CHILD for $1,135. The funding will go toward the purchase of new equipment for the center.
Brooke Pulke, director of the center, said the money will be used to buy a Swivel Glider Rocker chair and Cozy Corner foam area for the infant room. The QCCC Grant Program is funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services to improve the quality of child care for Illinois children and families, support planned child care program improvements, and assist providers in the achievement and maintenance of Quality Counts Quality Rating System (QRS) certification.
