Take one night away from your normal routine to immerse yourself into the wonderful world of chocolate with a great new offering in Pinckneyville through the Rend Lake College Community Education Department.
“Baking: For the Love of Chocolate” is set for 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, in the Pinckneyville Community High School kitchen. The class will be led by Chef Brian Kalata, Culinary Arts Instructor at RLC. The course cost is $30.
This cooking class will be a unique combination of hands-on learning, camaraderie with fellow cooks, and a wonderful tasting experience at the end of the session. Participants will learn to prepare and present two types of desserts, and recipes will be included.
