Christopher-Rend Lake College presents the spring Community Education classes for the Christopher area.
Is your kid a "Smart Kid"? Does he/she know what to do in an emergency? This class will show kids how to be safe while walking home from school, at the mall, or on the Internet. Whether babysitting or home alone, this information is great to know. Our instructor, Rachel West, will help your child learn how to be a Smart Kid about personal safety along with professionals who empower kids with the knowledge to be safe in any situation. This class is recommended for kids 10 to 15 years old. It will be held one time only on Monday, February 23 from 6-8p.m. at the Christopher Civic Center. Registration fee is $9.
The Easter Bunny is making his way to Christopher for "Kids in the Kitchen Easter." Join instructor Virginia McCann for a fun evening of making Easter treats and crafts. Make something yummy to snack on while creating a cute Easter craft project for that "somebunny" special. The class will be held Tuesday, April 7 from 5:30-7:30p.m. in the Christopher Civic Center. The registration fee is $9 and there is a $5 supply fee payable to instructor the night of class. Students must be 6 or older or accompanied by an adult.
