Historical Statistics of the United States - This Millennal Edition provides a compilation of U.S. statistics and "has long been the standard source for quantitative indicators of American history."  

Statistical Abstract of the United States - This abstract is the national data book for the United States which includes social, political, and economic statistics.

US Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics - This link provides statistics and information from more than 70 agencies in the U.S. Federal Government.

Literary Criticism


Electronic Sources:

Literature Resource Center: LRC includes more than 70,000 signed critical essays from acclaimed Gale literature series like Contemporary Literary Criticism, Shakespearean Criticism, Short Story Criticism and other titles. Also includes book, film and theater reviews.

Print Sources:

Information on literary criticism can also be found in the Gale Literary Criticism sets within in the Reference book collection (Dewey Decimal numbers 809-809.31). The Gale sets include:

This database provides over 25,000 encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subject areas. Use link on EBSCO to access this resource.
