Evan Chapman - RHP, 5’10, 170, Pinckneyville High School, IL
Coach's Comments - Evan is a low to mid 80’s strike thrower with 3 pitches for strikes and good arm side run on his fastball. He should be able to come in right away and compete for time on the mound which should increase as he gets bigger and stronger.
Addison Eggerston - CIF, 6’2, 210, West Frankfort High School, IL
Coach's Comments - Addison is an athletic kid who will compete for time at the corner infield spots. He has a flat swing that allows him to drive the ball in the gaps with back spin.
Nick Gant - OF, 6’2, 190, Taylorville High School, IL
Coach's Comments - Nick is a strong athletic outfielder that will use his speed and strong arm to help the team this fall. He is a 6.7 runner with size and strength that will help him compete for one of the 3 outfield spots.
Trey Garrett - C/RHP/OF, 6’1, 195, Benton Community High School, IL
Coach's Comments - Trey is one of the top recruits in the state of Illinois. His combination of skill behind the plate, speed, arm strength, and prowess on the mound make him a special athlete. Trey’s flexibility as a player will make him a valuable commodity for the Warriors this fall.
Lex Glasco - 1B/DH, 5’10, 225, Johnston City High School, IL
Coach's Comments - Lex’s biggest asset is his offensive ability. His balance and handsy swing should allow him to make solid contact consistently and drive the ball into the gaps.
Kyle Hartwick - C/1B, 6’2, 220, Oxford High School, MI
Coach's Comments - Kyle’s frame and swing are what first attracted interest by the Rend Lake College coaching staff. His quick bat and propensity to drive the baseball should allow him to compete for time in the line up immediately.
Jake Hickey - C/3B/OF, 6’1, 195, Lincoln-Way East High School, IL

Hitting from the left side, Zack also played SS his senior year and served as the closer on his high school team. Zack’s versatility will help him find time on the field in the upcoming season.
Quinton Kehrer - C/3B, 5’11, 200, Woodlawn High School, IL

Trevor Pasley - LHP, 5’10, 160, Wayne City High School, IL

Bryant Shute - IF/OF, 5’8, 160, Pinckneyville High School, IL
Coach's Comments - Bryant is a speedy player that can play multiple positions. A 6.6 runner, Bryant will no doubt be a threat on the bases as well as at the plate. Bryant has surprising pop from the right side of the plate, but could become a threat as a switch hitter in the near future.

Brady Wright - IF/RHP, 6’4, 220, Anna-Jonesboro High School, IL
Coach's Comments - Arguably the best athlete in Southern Illinois, the three-sport standout and current Southern Illinois Football Player of the Year will be a dual threat for the Rend Lake College Baseball team this fall. Brady is a middle of the order hitter at the plate with power potential and soft hands and good feet in the field. On the mound he is a strike thrower with a mid to upper 80’s fastball and a good breaking ball. Brady has a high ceiling on the mound and at the plate and will be a great addition to the team.
Zane Xanders - CIF/RHP, 6’0, 185, Mount Vernon Township High School, IL

Abigail Bennett - RSH/OH, 5'9", Benton Consolidated High School, IL
