Rend Lake College seeks a full-time, professional Academic Advisor. This individual will help advise students regarding program requirements and class scheduling, career exploration and educational planning, and academic concerns and / or personal problems (when needed), and will provide transfer assistance. // Full-time, 50-week, tenure-track position.

• Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Educational Psychology, Education or related field from an accredited institution required, Master's Degree preferred.
• Community college advisement, teaching or administrative experience preferred. 
• Knowledge of transfer degree requirements preferred.Familiarity with First-Year Experience programs preferred.
• All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process.

• Salary $30,000 - $35,000 annually.
