Coach Dave Ellingsworth is in his 17th season at the helm of Lady Warriors softball. He and his staff (assistant coaches Dennis Johnson and student coach Danielle Rapp) will welcome back pitcher Courtney Walter(Chaffee, Mo.), catcher Kayla Raderstorf (Brazil, Ind.), catcher/outfielder Jaylyn Jones (Tolono) and outfielder Shannon Harre (Nashville, Ill.). Recruits are Rachel Mulvey of Harrison High School in Evansville, Ind.; infielder/outfielder Bethany McGhee from West Frankfort; outfielder/first baseman Nicole Miller from North Central High in Shelburn, Ind.; Nashville catcher Jackie Kurwicki and infielder Katy Wojtowicz; Belleville West catcher Nicole Rhein and first baseman/outfielder Kassandra Korte; Vienna pitcher Malori Loker; Carbondale Terriers pitcher Carly Clark-Stokes and shortstop Ashton Krough; and Mt. Vernon Township High outfielder/infielder Tosha Ellis. The spring season swings into action in late February.
