TUITION
Tuition for in-district, out of district, and out of state residents will be computed on the per credit hour rate found in the table below.

Residents age 60 or older pay no tuition but are required to pay any fees associated with the class(es).
In addition, the out-of-district tuition may be waived for a student who is enrolled in a course being provided under terms of a contract for services between the employer and the college.
Audit Fees
Tuition for auditing is the same as taking the course for credit for in-district students
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Full tuition is due ten days prior to the beginning of the semester. A statement will be mailed about two weeks before the due date. You may make your payment anytime prior to the due date. If you are a financial aid recipient, you must contact the Rend Lake College Financial Aid Office to ensure your aid is awarded by the payment deadline. Students may enroll with the Facts Tuition Management Plan to allow an extended number of payments or may make online payments via Illinois E-pay. Failure to comply with these terms will result in complete withdrawal from all classes.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY
By signing and submitting the registration form for processing, the student acknowledges and agrees that he or she is financially responsible for the timely and full payment of tuition, fees and costs resulting from his or her enrollment at Rend Lake College in accordance with existing law and College policy.
WITHDRAWING FROM A CLASS
After registration, if you decide that you cannot complete the course, you must officially withdraw from the class as outlined in the College catalog. Non-attendance in a class does not constitute a withdrawal. Students not officially withdrawing will receive a failing grade for the course.
FEE REFUNDS
Should a student withdraw from Rend Lake College during the semester, the tuition to be refunded shall be based on the following:
FALL AND/OR SPRING SEMESTER WITHDRAWAL REFUND
Prior to end of second week of classes 100%
During third week of classes and thereafter 0%
SUMMER TERM WITHDRAWAL REFUND
Prior to end of first week of classes 100%
During second week of classes and thereafter 0%
FINANCIAL AID
If you have not already done so, please contact the Financial Aid Office. You may be eligible for federal or state financial aid.
