Non-Traditional Student Grant Program
The purpose of this funding is to advance student enrollment, retention, and completion of a program that leads to employment in the fields that are nontraditional for one's gender. Selected recipients may receive assistance with tuition, fees, books, supplies, uniforms, equipment, childcare and transportation. To qualify, students must be enrolled in a program nontraditional for their gender, determined WIA Title I eligible and enrolled in WIA Title I before receiving funds to begin classes, and be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher if already enrolled in college.
