FEES

SPECIAL PROGRAM FEES

Students in selected programs will have additional expenses, depending upon the program in which they are enrolled. These expenses include text and workbooks, uniforms, ID pins, special equipment, rental equipment, towel fees, expendable materials, equipment breakage and similar items.

GRADUATION FEES

A fee of $25 will be charged students applying for an Associate in Arts Degree, Associate in Science Degree, Associate in Fine Arts Degree, Associate in Engineering Science Degree or Associate in Applied Science Degree. An additional $2 fee will be charged per degree to a person graduating with more than one during the same school year. A $2 fee will be charged for each occupational certificate issued.

TRANSCRIPT FEES

Three transcripts of the student’s official educational record at Rend Lake College will be provided upon written request at no charge; there will be a $2 per transcript fee for each transcript requested after the first three. The fee must be paid in full to the Business Office before the transcript is released

TECHNOLOGY FEE

The purpose of the technology fee is to fund improvements and upgrades to all types of technology associated with the delivery of educational and administrative services. The assessment of the $3 per credit hour technology fee is not on a course by course basis and is not contingent upon whether or not technology is directly involved in course requirements. Each and every course, program, and student benefit from the use of technology throughout campus and therefore the fee is assessed (with few exceptions) on a universal basis.
