Federal Pell Grant: Federally funded program that helps undergraduates pay for a college education. Based on financial need and does not have to be paid back. Current range: $976 - $5350. The Federal Pell Grant provides gift money for college-related expenses to students demonstrating financial need. To apply, a student needs to fill out the (FAFSA) or may apply over the Internet at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
FSEOG Grant: Federally funded program to help students with the greatest financial need. All students who fill out the FAFSA will be considered for FSEOG with awards going to students demonstrating exceptional need. Rend Lake College awards FSEOG ranging from $200-$600.'
ISAC Monetary Award Program: Provides gift money for payment toward tuition to eligible students who are and have been Illinois residents for a year prior to the start of the academic year. This grant is based on financial need as determined from information obtained from the FAFSA application.
Silas Purnell Illinois Incentive for Access (IIA) Grant: This is a one-time grant of up to $500. It is awarded to freshman students who have a 0 Expected Family Contribution. This grant is based on financial need as determined from information obtained from the FAFSA application.
