The Illinois Small Business Development Center at the Rend Lake College MarketPlace in
Mt. Vernon was established to help entrepreneurs start new businesses, or to expand or
improve existing businesses. The SBDC offers one-on-one confidential counseling for all
phases of business activities.

If you have owned a business, or if you’re already in business, we invite you to meet with
a U.S. Small Business Administration Certified Business Specialist.

to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Appointments also can be
scheduled at a client business site upon request or through sign-up at the SBDC Request for
Services Online at the E-Center Direct Web site.
