'FREE COMEDY IMPROV NIGHT COMING UP AT RLC'

INA, Ill. – Rend Lake College’s Thespian Comedy Improv Night is free fun for the whole family at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, in the college theater.

The show features RLC theatre students from the local area who use their talents for a night of comedy improv games, sketch comedy and skits with a lot of audience interaction. The event should last about an hour, “depending on how much the audience is into it,” said Theatre Director Tracey Webb.

“There will be some skits in the style of ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ and we will be sure to do the Abbott and Costello classic, ‘Who’s On First?’ which is always well received,” Webb added. “It really is a lot of fun and good for the entire family. And did we mention it’s free?”

Don’t miss this fun-filled night of comedy as nearly 20 RLC students pitch in punchlines for RLC Thespian Comedy Improv Night. They include Kassie Stroud (Sesser), Travis Bond (Mt. Vernon), Emily Dixon (Pinckneyville), Audrey Blake (Benton), Steve Janic (Salem), Levi Overturf (Mt. Vernon), Chrystal Paige Brown (Ashley), Quinton Sledge (Mt. Vernon), Jayne Ballantyne (Pinckneyville), Kyndel Shreve (McLeansboro), Ryan Milam (Benton), EJ Code (Benton), Koady Smith (Benton), Kearah Ressler (Mt. Vernon), Tyler Eaton (Benton) and Hobie Graham (Mt. Vernon).
