Get away from ordinary chips, dips and vegetable trays and learn to create some truly appetizing snacks with “Appetizers Galore,” a class available through the Rend Lake College Community Education Department.
The class is set for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, in the RLC Student Center. The session will be led by Chef Brian Kalata, Culinary Arts Instructor at RLC and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
This cooking class will be a unique combination of hands-on learning, camaraderie with fellow cooks and a wonderful tasting experience. Participants will learn to prepare and present four types of appetizers during this session and recipes will be included.
The $32 registration fee includes the cost of all ingredients and participants do not need to bring anything to class.
