MT. VERNON – Dealing with banks can be confusing for those who haven’t a clue about how the lending institution views business lending. Rend Lake College wants to help.
The college has set up a free workshop and recruited a heavy hitter in local lending.
The free workshop with Jim Flagg, Vice President of Commercial Lending for People’s National Bank, will give the attendee a practical guide to dealing with the local banker.
The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Oct. 10, in room 354B, at the Rend Lake College MarketPlace in Mt. Vernon.
A basic review of commercial financing will give participants the insight to deal with a banker logically in order to succeed in a funding objective. A question and answer session will be included in the agenda.
Preregistration is required. Call the RLC Small Business Development Center at 618-242-5813 to register for the workshop titled, WKSP 5359-M1 Dealing with Banks.
