Rend Lake College’s Culinary Arts students will once again put their talents to the taste test during the Dessert and Baking Contest at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 13.
The event will be held in the Student Center Kitchen. The confectionary treats will be on display from 1-1:30 p.m. and samples will be available.
According to Associate Culinary Arts Professor Diane Catalfamo, the contest serves as a final for her Baking and Pastries class. Prizes will be awarded for first through third places in Best of Show. A packet of the recipes created for the contest will be available for publication.
