A necessity for agencies and businesses today is the ability to prepare successful grant proposals. Rend Lake College is offering to help with "Grant Writing Basics."
This two-session course will be held on the Ina campus from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, in Academic Building Room 210 and Tuesday, April 27, in Academic Building Room 206. It will be led by Trudee Wynn, RLC’s Resource Development Specialist. Course cost is $40.
This class will give participants the essentials necessary to prepare effective grant proposals. Attendees will focus on crucial Web sites for grant seekers and proposal do’s and don’ts. Hands-on computer time will be involved and participants will become familiar with Internet searching techniques.
