**Board approves resignation of division chair
Accepted the resignation of Ed Billingsley, Applied Science Division Chair, effective June 30, 2004. In his letter of resignation, Billingsley thanked the Board of Trustees for the confidence its members had in him during his tenure. "There are good people with character and educators with calling at this institution. I wish them all continued success," Billingsley wrote. Billingsley had been with Rend Lake College for nearly seven years.

--Accepted the resignation of Lee Ann Bayless, Administrative Assistant for the Center for Business Services, effective February 27, 2004. Bayless has decided to begin a cosmetology career and will be joining RLC's Cosmetology Program. RLC is a Paul Mitchell Partner School and is the only public community college in the nation to receive that designation.
