Sesser-Rend Lake College announces two amazing Community Education classes for spring semester in Sesser.
Learn vital information to ensure your health and the health of your family and pets. This course will be taught by a licensed veterinarian, Dr. John Spence. He will cover diseases and illnesses that can be passed from pets to their owner and show steps to prevent them. Do you eat meat? Learn about diseases and illnesses that can be caused by eating animals. Be informed-Be safe! "Zoonotic Diseases: Public Health, Pets, and Food Animals" will be held on Thursday evenings, February 5-19 in the Sesser Community Building. Registration fee is $24.
Ever wish you knew more about how to take care of your vehicle? Your car is a major part of your life so learn what it needs to keep running smoothly. Learn how to check the oil and tire pressure, how to put air in your tires, change a tire, put on new wiper blades, what warning lights on the dashboard mean, and when you should take your car to a mechanic. Save money by doing basic car care yourself and learn how to protect you and your investment. "Basic Car Care for Women" will be held on Thursday, April 21 from 6-8pm at Sesser Car Care, Inc. Keith Wilson is the instructor. Registration fee is $10.

If you are considering taking a class, please call and let us know at least one week prior to the start of class. Otherwise, we must cancel low enrollment classes.
