Mt. Vernon-Struggling to learn a computer software program can be frustrating. People who are working don't have time to take a full semester college course and others need to know the information to get started right away. Rend Lake College developed Quick Computer Workshops to help fulfill this need.
There are almost 20 different courses taught through the Quick Computer Workshops. These classes are scheduled to be either one full day class or they are broken up into 3 or 4 smaller day and evening classes. The variety of classes offered help people in our community learn the software or computer skills they need for their jobs or for their own personal benefit. To help ensure hands on practice, the classes are held in our computer lab at the RLC Marketplace in Mt. Vernon.
