MT. VERNON, Ill. - Rend Lake College announces a one day quick computer workshop on Intermediate Microsoft Excel. The class will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, in the computer lab at the Rend Lake College MarketPlace in Mt. Vernon.
Quick computer workshops are convenient classes offered through Community Education. They are designed for people in the community who are interested in learning about the ever changing computer software applications. These classes offer people the chance to take a one or three day class. They are quick, convenient and help meet the educational and personal development needs of the people and businesses in the community.
For those who feel they already have the basic level of Excel conquered, Intermediate MS Excel offers an opportunity to broaden their knowledge about the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software.
Participants will learn helpful tips about working with large worksheets. They will discover how to add dramatic graphics and how to make professional spreadsheets with easy to use templates. The class will also cover how to protect workbooks and manage multiple-sheet works.
One of the most useful tools in Excel is the time saving links and hyperlinks. This class covers how to create and use those links. It will also show participants how to create professional looking tables and outlines.
