MT. VERNON, Ill. - Rend Lake College and Tri-County Electric are hosting a free workshop for the community. "Saving Energy: How it Benefits You" will be presented by Bruce Barkau from Tri-County Electric.
Participants will learn information on energy efficiency basics and discover simple steps that can help lower heating and cooling costs.
This workshop is schedule for Monday, January 25 from 6-8p.m. at the Rend Lake College MarketPlace in Mt. Vernon, Room 354B. There is no charge for attending this workshop; however, participants must call Rend Lake College and pre-register in order to attend.
Rend Lake College will also be hosting the Saving Energy workshop at two other locations. In Pinckneyville, Tina Gibbs-Monroe from Ameren will be presenting on Thursday, March 11. It is scheduled to be held from 6-8p.m. at the Murphy-Wall Campus, Room 101.
Greg Hollmann, RLC instructor, will present on Wednesday, April 14 from 10-11:30am in the Historic Schoolhouse on the RLC Main Campus in Ina.
