INA, Ill. - Rend Lake College Community Education announces upcoming Valentine themed kids in the kitchen classes.
In Mt. Vernon, Instructor Monica Crouse will have kids decorating their own food and creating their own crafts. Hearts and Hugs for Kids will have participants spending the evening decorating cookies and making Valentines for their friends and family. The course will be held on Wednesday, February 3rd from 5:30-7:30p.m. at the RLC Marketplace in Room 354A. The registration fee is $10. A supply fee of $5 is payable to the instructor for food and supplies. Children must be 5-10 years old. This course offers parents the perfect time to run errands or have a quiet moment while the children are in the capable hands of a certified early childhood instructor.
In Benton, Instructor Nancy Gulley will be sharing ideas during Kids in the Kitchen Valentine's Day. Participants will be making Valentine themed items. The course will be held on Thursday, February 11th from 5:30-7:30p.m. at Benton High School in Room 109 (Home Ec Room). The registration fee is $10. A supply fee of $5 is payable to the instructor at the beginning of class. Students must be 6+ or accompanied by an adult.
