MT. VERNON, Ill. - Rend Lake College is pleased to announce two brand new personal enrichment courses for Fall 2010. Participants can learn a new arts and craft project with Instructor Krissy Braden and at the same time learn how to dress up the little princesses in their lives.
It's hard to find the right hair bow to go with most outfits. Participants in How to Make Hair Bows will learn how to make several types of custom bows to go with any outfit. The class will be held on Saturday, September 25 from 10a.m. to 2p.m. in Room 336 at the Rend Lake College MarketPlace in Mt. Vernon. The registration fee is $20. A supply fee of $4 to $6 per bow is payable to the instructor at class. Students are invited to bring a snack or sack lunch to class.
Students in How to Make Bandana Dresses and Tutus will learn how to make bandana dresses also known as pillow case dresses and matching fabric fringed flip flops. The class will also cover how to make custom tutus. The class will be held on Saturday, October 16 from 10am to 2pm in Room 354A at the Rend Lake College MarketPlace in Mt. Vernon. The registration fee is $20. Students are required to bring their own supplies. A supply list will be provided at time of registration.
