MT. VERNON, Ill. - Nearly 70 percent of the customers a business loses claim bad service is why they left. Rend Lake College and the Small Business Development Center have developed a workshop on customer service skills geared to re-energizing a business staff and giving them the knowledge to prevent poor customer service. This workshop will teach the basic skills, attitude, and awareness of how to delight both internal and external customers.
Workshop instructor Amy Epplin will cover such topics as "Choosing Your Attitude," "Understanding Customer Needs," "Clear Communication," "Building Satisfaction" plus much, much more. This interactive workshop is designed to get people motivated and teach them Super Service Skills!
Customer Service: Essentials for Everyone is a one-day workshop scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Nov. 15, at the Rend Lake College MarketPlace in Room 354. The cost of the workshop is $45, which includes lunch.
