Counseling – The Academic Counseling Center is available to assist you in career development and goal setting, educational planning, assessment for placement and credit purposes, scheduling of classes, and linking with campus activities and services. Counseling staff is available to answer questions regarding registration and its procedures. Registration information can be found in the Course Schedule available online or may be obtained from the Counseling Department. Financial Aid – Financial Aid comes in the form of grants, scholarships, tuition waivers, employment, and loans. Each type of aid is available at RLC. Additional information as well as financial aid requirements may be found by visiting www.rlc.edu/financial-aid/requirements or by contacting the Financial Aid Office at 618.437.5321, Ext. 1385 to set up an appointment.
Completion of the FAFSA form (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is a requirement prior to receiving financial aid benefits; therefore, complete as early in the calendar year as possible and before your appointment with Financial Aid.
Veteran Education Benefits – Rend Lake College is a member of Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges, a consortium of over 1,700 colleges and universities that provide college-level educational opportunities for servicemembers and their families.
