Story Time Kit Circulation Policies

1. Story Time kits may be checked out to patrons of the Rend Lake College library or to other libraries through interlibrary loan.
2. Story time kit requests can be made up to 90 days in advance.Two kits can be requested at a time with the exception of holiday or seasonal theme kits.  Only one holiday or seasonal theme can be requested at a time.
3. Story time kits may be booked for a maximum of seven days.The kits must be returned promptly.
4. A late fee of $2.00 per day will be charged for all overdue Story Time kits.  Rend Lake College reserves the right to revoke borrowing privileges of individuals if kits are returned late more the twice.
5. The receiving library should check the contents list before releasing the kit to the library patron and before returning the kit to Rend Lake College.  Missing or damaged items should be reported immediately to Rend Lake College.  Rend Lake College will assess fees for items that are lost or damaged by library patrons.

7. If you must cancel a story time kit request please notify Arvella Waugh at least one week in advance.  You may call (618) 437-5321 ext. 1275 or e-mail storytime@rlc.edu with your cancellation.
