HOW TO: GET A FREE EMAIL ACCOUNT

All RLC students must have an active email address. If you do not have one, follow the instructions below to create a free account with Yahoo.

NOTE: If you have Yahoo! Messanger, you already have a Yahoo account, and do not need to signup, just go to mail.yahoo.com and login.

1. Navigate to http://mail.yahoo.com. (To open a second web browser window press Control + N)
2. Click "Sign Up Now"
3. Click "Sign Up for Yahoo! Mail" (Be sure to click the left button marked free)
4. Choose a user name. This will be your email address. Suggestion: Jim Smith would use j.smith. This would create the email address j.smith@yahoo.com.
5. Fill in the rest of the form, be sure to remember your password!
6. Your mail account is now created.
