| Q: My Username and/or password won't work. Why? |
A: As a default, user accounts are set up with a username of the students last name, first initial, two digit month and two digit day of birth, all lower case and all one word. Your password should have been given to you at registration, if you have lost or forgotten it you can contact the IT Department to have it changed. |
| Q: I changed my password and now I can't remember it, what do I do? |
A: Students can change their password at the http://rlc.edu/myrlc portal. If however you have forgotten your password, you can contact the IT department to get it changed. |
| Q: I am in a class that uses Blackboard, but it isn't showing up under my courses. |
A: Due to late adds/drops, there is a one week grace period to get all students enrolled in the proper classes. However if you are still not enrolled after the initial week, you can contact your instructor or Student Recordsand let them know that you need to be enrolled in the class. |
| Q: I need to post something to the discussion board, but I dont have a text box. |
A: If you are attempting to use the discussion board and are not able to see the apropriate text boxes. You need to complete the following steps.:
1. On the initial page, under "tools", click "personal information."
2. Select "Visual Text Box Editor Options"
3. Under "Set Availability" - Click "Unavailable" |
