| Q: My Username and/or password won't work. Why? |
A: As a default, user accounts are set up with a username of the students first and last name all lower case and all one word. The default password for the account will be the last for digits of your social security number. |
| Q: I changed my password and now I can't remember it, what do I do? |
A: Students are encouraged to change their password in their Blackboard account. If however you have forgotten your password, you ca contact the IT department to get it changed. |
| Q: I am in a class that uses Blackboard, but it isn't showing up under my courses. |
A: Due to late adds/drops, there is a one week grace period to get all students enrolled in the proper classes. However if you are still not enrolled after the initial week, you can contact your instructor and let them know that you need enrolled in the class. |
| Q: I need to post something to the discussion board, but I dont have a text box. |
A: Blackboard has some functionality issues with some of the newer web browsers. If you are attempting to use the discussion board and are not able to see the apropriate text boxes. You need to complete the follow steps.
1. On the initial page, under tolls, click personal information.
2. Select Visual Text Box Editor Options
3. Under Set Availability - Click Unavailable |
