RLC CAREER JOB FAIR TO SHOWCASE 30-PLUS AREA EMPLOYERS

INA – The Rend Lake College Career Job Fair returns this year – bigger and better than ever.

More than 30 employers are expected to be on hand. This event, co-sponsored by RLC, its Center for Business Services, the Illinois Small Business Development Center Network and a Federal Perkins Technical Preparation grant, is just as important to visiting employers as it is to potential employees who attend, according to Kathy Craig, Director of the RLC Center for Business Services.

“They all have open positions that they are wanting to fill,” she said.

The Career Job Fair is free to attend and will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, April 2, 2009 in Waugh Gym on the RLC Main Campus in Ina.

Representatives of numerous area employers will be on-hand to discuss career opportunities and accept resumes. Those planning to attend should prepare to bring their resumes, and come dressed to interview and ready to complete employment applications. The RLC Career Job Fair is open to anyone seeking any type of employment opportunity in a career-technical field.
