Viticulture and Enology |

Viticulture is the science of growing and cultivating grapes.
Enology is the scientific study of wine and the making of wine.
The Viticulture and Enology Degree and Certification Programs will provide students with a comprehensive examination of grape growing and winemaking through the Viticulture and Enology Science and Technology Alliance (VESTA) consortium of colleges including Rend Lake College, Missouri State University, Northeast Iowa Community College and Redlands Community College in Oklahoma.

Most of the viticulture and enology core courses are delivered online through VESTA. Interested individuals should become familiar with VESTA by visiting the website at vesta-usa.org. |

Through Rend Lake College, students can earn an Occupational Certificate or Associate of Applied Science Degree in Viticulture or Enology. Additionally, the VESTA program enables existing industry workers to receive professional training in grape growing and wine making. |
