General Education Developmental Classes
General Educational Development (GED) classes help prepare students to earn their high school equivalency diploma. These classes encourage students to draw upon life experiences and background knowledge while brushing up on forgotten skills and learning new ones.
GED classes include:
• Math, reading, writing, science and social studies
• Computer skills
• Group activities
• Community speakers
• Field trips
Classes are conveniently scheduled throughout the Rend Lake College District in Franklin, Jefferson, Hamilton and Perry counties. Both day and evening classes are available.
GED classes have open registration . . .a student can enter and exit classes throughout the semester. Dates, times and locations vary each semester.
