A healthy body is just as important as a healthy mind. Rend Lake College offers a wide variety of Health and Physical Education classes both on-campus and at sites throughout the community to help people keep in shape and have fun in the process.

On campus in the Wayne Arnold Aerobic Super-Circuit Fitness Center, which features full universal stations and a modern free-weight area. Another fitness center is located at St. Mary's/ Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon. Also located on the main campus is the Aquatics Center, which features a six-lane, 75 foot pool, therapy pool and whirlpool. Students can sign up for classes at any of these locations, as well as a variety of other Physical Education and Health offerings.

A sampling of possibilities includes aerobics, swimming, baseball, basketball, golf, dancing, karate, tennis, and a plethora of possibilities for almost any interest.
